Compassion in Crisis – Prabh Aasra’s Humanitarian Response

During the COVID-19 pandemic, especially amid the strict lockdowns, thousands of homeless individuals, migrant laborers, and daily wage earners were left without food, shelter, or medical support. Prabh Aasra responded with urgency and compassion to support the most vulnerable.

• 7,000+ Monthly Ration Kits distributed, including flour, rice, pulses, vegetables, oil, salt, and hygiene essentials.
• Over 5 Lakh ml of Sanitizer purchased and supplied to communities and frontline workers.
• 15,000+ Face Masks distributed free to promote public safety.
• Free Ambulance Services: 3 ambulances, including 2 under district administration were deployed for emergency transport of COVID patients, elderly, and critical cases.
• Community Outreach: Collaborated with police, social workers, and volunteers to identify and assist the most affected families.
• Awareness & Medical Guidance: Conducted safety drives and offered medical advice and medicine to ensure preventive care and community awareness.
• Launch of Prabh Aasra Hospital: To support non-COVID patients who were denied admission elsewhere, a charitable multispeciality hospital was established just 500 meters from the shelter. Staffed with 7 part-time doctors already serving our inhabitants, it provided timely care for covid and patients

Through these efforts, Prabh Aasra became a lifeline for thousands, ensuring that dignity, health, and hope reached even the most forgotten during the crisis.
